Andy however is too self obsessed to notice Maggie's plight. Written by The TV Archaeologist. I absolutely adored this special. I found it funny, tragic and amazing. So many details I could reveal, but I think it would be best if I just said that you must see this if you are a fan.

I wanted to address some commentary about this special other users have made in terms of it not being too funny, or that people in England really don't talk like Andy and that there were no jokes, et al. I strongly disagree. This special is where Darren and Barry nearly upstage Andy, making me think they should have their own show. I live in Los Angeles-and people actually are this mean and embarrassing and weird when they speak to each other, so maybe this is a case of the Brits not understanding their own comedy and us Americans getting it fully.

I do know that Ricky Gervais is a huge Garry Shandling fan, which could be why his humor may be leaning towards us getting his more embarrassing, nastier moments.

Almost every word he utters in this special I've heard out of the mouths of actors, producers, directors and retail people here in Hollywood, no doubt. The whole incident with the publicist is not only painful, but very very correct in showing you how actors behave around media. What I thought was really excellent was how he brings the series full circle, focusing on something far more important than fame or money.

And so what if Ricky Gervais is the person he is making fun of. What ever Ricky's life is outside the show, what is on the screen is funny and poignant, true and stinging- truth be damned. I love this special. Love it. Looking for something to watch? Choose an adventure below and discover your next favorite movie or TV show. Visit our What to Watch page. Sign In. Into the mix comes a naive outsider from another culture. Written by Anonymous. I was assigned to watch this series for my Spanish 3 course. Upon hearing about having to watch a series for a class I was disappointed. The precedent for good educational shows is set very low in my personal experience. As soon I began to watch this cinematic masterpiece, I immediately connected with this group of characters: their struggles, their day to day dramas was just so relatable and entertaining.

This has supplemented my educational growth as a Spanish speaker while being a boatload of fun. The only grievance I had with this show was that it came to an end with a meager 13 episodes.

I want more Extr. These characters were relatable and funny. The acting was surprisingly great for an educational program. The jokes were funny while at the same time being educational.

It kept my interest throughout each episode, something some mainstream TV struggle to do. I would recommend this series to anyone who wants a good time while learning. It is the year D on Konchez when a flock of Garuda clan rakshasas disturbs a huge Kinnara clan upani that looks like an elephant. The upani launches a transcendental in self-defense. As the Garudas dodge the attacks, a second stage Maruna warns the rest of his flock not to stir up any more trouble, but they seem undisturbed.

Suddenly, a flock of female rakshasas, known as Akasha 's daughters, among them a 4th stage Samphatiflies up and defeats the Upani. Maruna's peers chat about the Upani deserving its fate for daring to act up against a sura of higher rank, but Maruna seems uncomfortable to watch and reluctant to agree. Seeing this, they suggest that Garuda would not have hesitated to shoot down that Upani and Maruna has a long way to go to reach his level. At this moment, much to Maruna's amazement, Samphati speaks up to her sisters and asks them to spare the Upani.

Before Maruna can approach her, a flock member drags him away since they should leave before a nastika comes and they get in trouble for disobeying curfew. Maruna presents a rather unsuccessfully drawn picture of Samphati to Akasha and asks which of her daughters this is.

Akasha first considers this a joke and suspects Vinata of putting him up to it. Maruna's description of Samphati does not help either since Akasha has over daughters with yellow hair and feathers. Maruna is reluctant to say why he wishes to find the girl since this would probably earn him a punishment for admitting to breaking curfew, and extra mental training for admitting that the reason she caught his eye was because she showed mercy.

Akasha eventually refuses to let Maruna meet her daughters because she wants to marry them off to nastikas as she will not suffer any Upani grandchildren. That is also why she keeps them in isolation and forbids them from speaking to men. Vinata advises Maruna to forget about Samphati. After sparing that Upani, Jatayu asked her sister why she spoke up against the others, since this is unlike her.

Samphati answers that she liked the child who was so different from the king and so she wanted to. S3 E74 is a great companion piece to this episode. Only the Sura on the top right is close to Maruna in age, and could be considered a friend. The rest are younger than Maruna. Usually, their panels would be color-coded, but I left them grey this time because it doesn't really matter who says what to understand this episode.

The reason Maruna becomes so muscular is because of his mother and the genes she passed on.
