The Kortik is found on the Russian aircraft carrier Admiral KuznetsovKirov -class battlecruiserNeustrashimy -class frigate ; and the People's Liberation Army Navy Sovremenny -class destroyers, and other modern designs. Typically deployed as a combined gun and missile system, it provides defence against anti-ship missilesanti-radar missiles and guided bombs. The system can also be employed against fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft or even surface vessels such as fast attack boats or targets on shore.
The weapon is a modular system consisting of a command module and typically two combat modules, as in the case of the two Sovremennyy -class destroyers Taizhou ex- Vnushitelnyy and Ningbo ex- Vechnyy in Chinese service, although the number can be as many as 8 in the case of Admiral Kuznetsov.
The command module detects and tracks threats, distributes targeting data to the combat modules, and interrogates IFF of approaching threats. The command module has a 3-D target detection radar, and an all weather multi-band integrated control system. Depending on the number of installed combat modules, the system can engage multiple targets simultaneously. The combat modules automatically track using either radar, electro-optronic control system such as FLIRs or both, and then engages targets with missiles and guns.
The missiles used in the Kortik are the 9M missiles, which is also used on the 9K22 Tunguska. The warhead is a continuous-rod warhead with a steel cube fragmentation layer. The detonation of the warhead will form a complete circle of fragmentation that is 5 meters in radius, and damage or destroy anything in that circle. The combination of the missiles and guns, provides more comprehensive protection when compared to other CIWS utilising either missiles or guns only. The system's combined kill probability is 0.

Wettengel, Prashant Hedao, Kenneth R. The tapestry of life on Earth is unraveling as humans increasingly dominate and transform natural ecosystems. Unfortunately, the ability to focus strategically is hindered by the absence of a global biodiversity map with sufficient biogeographic resolution to accurately reflect the complex distribution of the Earth's natural communities. Without such a map, many distinctive biotas remain unrecognized.
In this article, we address the disparity in resolution between maps currently available for global conservation planning and the reality of the Earth's intricate patterns of life.
We have developed a detailed map of the terrestrial ecoregions of the world that is better suited to identify areas of outstanding biodiversity and representative communities Noss We define ecoregions as relatively large units of land containing a distinct assemblage of natural communities and species, with boundaries that approximate the original extent of natural communities prior to major land-use change.
Our ecoregion map offers features that enhance its utility for conservation planning at global and regional scales: comprehensive coverage, a classification framework that builds on existing biogeographic knowledge, and a detailed level of biogeographic resolution. Ecoregions reflect the distributions of a broad range of fauna and flora across the entire planet, from the vast Sahara Desert to the diminutive Clipperton Island eastern Pacific Ocean. They are classified within a system familiar to all biologists—biogeographic realms and biomes.
Ecoregions, representing distinct biotas Dasmann, Udvardyare nested within the biomes and realms and, together, these provide a framework for comparisons among units and the identification of representative habitats and species assemblages. Although our ecoregions are intended primarily as units for conservation action, they are built on the foundations of classical biogeography and reflect extensive collaboration with over biogeographers, taxonomists, conservation biologists, and ecologists from around the world.
None of these other approaches emphasizes the importance of endemic genera and families higher taxadistinct assemblages of species, or the imprint of geological history, such as the strong influence of past glaciations or Pleistocene land bridges, on the distribution of plants and animals. Existing maps of global biodiversity have been ineffective planning tools because they divide the Earth into extremely coarse biodiversity units.
These units are typically well beyond the size of landscapes tractable for designing networks of conservation areas, the largest of protected areas, or the 50, km 2 threshold for restricted-range species Stattersfield et al.Since Wi-Fi was first released to consumers inWi-Fi standards have been continually evolving — typically resulting in faster speeds and further coverage. With every new capability comes a name change to set the standards apart. The order of all of the Wi-Fi standards from to present are as follows click on any to take you right to that section : Future It supported a maximum theoretical rate of 11 Mbps and had a range up to feet.
And since Eventually, More on Wi-Fi 4 later. Today, routers that only support But it introduced a more complex technique, known as OFDM orthogonal frequency division multiplexing for generating the wireless signal.

This is because The Like But like With At the same time, consumer wireless routers were getting better, with higher power and better coverage than earlier generations. With the It supported a maximum theoretical transfer rate of Mbps and could reach up to Mbps when using three antennae.
This provided a significant increase in data without needing a higher bandwidth or transmit power. To achieve this kind of performance, Another significant advancement with Wi-Fi 5 was a big step for Wi-Fi evolution.
Now, Wi-Fi is taking another big leap from 5 to 6. The newest generation Wi-Fi standard is Wi-Fi 6. We were used to Wi-Fi 5 being supercharged with changes, and now Wi-Fi 6 offers even more. The biggest things to know about the newest standard is that Wi-Fi 6 :. Unlike past standards, Wi-Fi 6 allows one router to handle more antennas.
Which means one router can connect to more devices.Teologia / 1 Lezione n. 11 Quando è morto Gesù? La vera data
You might see Wi-Fi 6E on some devices. The thing you need to know about Wi-Fi 6E is that it is the same as Wi-Fi 6 except for one thing: the frequency band that it can extend to.
Wi-Fi 6E supports an all-new 6GHz frequency, which has higher throughputs and lower latency. There are devices that can help make your home Wi-Fi experience even better.
